Traveling Show Stopping at Hannibal Arts Council
Hannibal, MO – The Hannibal Arts Council is one stop of several for the Missouri Mental Health Foundation’s 2017 Director’s Creativity Showcase. The special visual art exhibit will be on display for a limited time only. Exhibit dates are November 9 through November 16.
Approximately 100 pieces of original works will be on display. The categories for the Showcase are selected by the Missouri Mental Health Foundation to represent the areas of treatment in the mental health arena, including mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse disorder.
The Missouri Mental Health Foundation was created to help the general public understand mental health conditions and their associated issues. It is dedicated to changing the attitudes of the general population about mental health conditions and helping those who experience them to build hope for a brighter future.
HAC gallery hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Friday and 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturdays. The HAC gallery is closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.
