Light Turnout for Presidential Preference Primary

It was a light turnout for Ralls County voters in the March 10, 2020, Presidential Preference Primary. Only 18.11% of the county’s 7,289 registered voters went to the polls.
A total of 1,320 ballots were cast with the Democrats getting 50.98% with 673 votes and the Republicans getting 48.79% of the vote.
Of the 673 Democratic votes, 484 went to Joseph Biden, 147 went to Bernie Sanders, and the remaining votes scattered to the other 20 candidates.
Of the 644 Republican votes, 638 went for Donald trump and 6 votes went to three other candidates.
