Ralls County Commission Meetings

February 18, 2020
Ralls County Presiding Commissioner, Wiley Hibbard called the adjourned meeting to order with the following members present: John Lake, Western District Commissioner; RC Harlow, Eastern District Commissioner; Sandy Lanier, Ralls County Clerk. The minutes from the February 11, 2020 meeting were read and approved. The Commission received three bids for CD’s from Saint’s Avenue, HNB and F&M.

John Lake made a motion to put CDAR’S with Saint’s Avenue Bank because they paid the highest
interest. Motion passed. The Commissioners signed a letter for the proposed annexation by the City of Perry for the right-of-way along Hwy 154. A letter from Missouri Department of Revenue Taxation Division was received. Ralls County received a fine distribution of $3,934.36 from a political subdivision.

Road maintenance was discussed. Meeting was adjourned. Commission will meet again on February 20, 2020 unless convened by court.
February 20, 2020

Ralls County Presiding Commissioner, Wiley Hibbard called the adjourned meeting to order with the following members present: John Lake, Western District Commissioner; RC Harlow, Eastern District Commissioner; Sandy Lanier, Ralls County Clerk. The minutes from the February 18, 2020 meeting were read and approved. Accounts payable were signed as listed in the warrant registry. Road maintenance was discussed. Meeting was adjourned. Commission will meet again on February 24, 2020 unless convened by court.
February 24, 2020
Ralls County Presiding Commissioner, Wiley Hibbard called the adjourned meeting to order with the following members present: John Lake, Western District Commissioner; RC Harlow, Eastern District Commissioner; Sandy Lanier, Ralls County Clerk. The minutes from the February 20, 2020 meeting were read and approved. Corey McAffey & Brittany Weldy with Hannibal Regional Economic Development Council met with the Ralls County Commission about the port authority. Brittany talked about Missouri small business development also. Stacey Fowler and Cheryl Ball from MODOT Central Office met with the Ralls County Commission about Port Authority. Wiley Hibbard made a motion to enter in an inter government agreement for a port authority with Marion County. Motion passed. Wiley Hibbard made a motion to pass an ordinance to maintain compliance with Missouri Ethics Commission. Motion passed.

Road maintenance was discussed. Meeting was adjourned. Commission will meet again on February 27, 2020 unless convened by court.
