Linda R. Lucas, 77 of Hannibal, MO passed away at 12:03 PM Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal, MO.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Frankford Presbyterian Church in Frankford, MO. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Frankford, MO. Pastor Joe Siefkas will officiate.
Friends and Family are invited to Linda’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday at the church.
The family is being served by the James O’Donnell Funeral Home of Hannibal, MO.
Linda was born on December 15, 1941 in Fulton, MO to Roy C. and Bernice Wyatt Williamson.
She was married on November 26, 1959 in Frankford, MO to Jesse Lucas. He survives.
Other survivors include two children: daughter, Jana Garner (Larry) of Hannibal, MO and Jeffrey Lucas of San Diego, CA; one brother, James Wiliamson and two grandchildren, Rihannan McClelland and Lucas McClelland.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Larry Williamson.
Linda was a beautician for many years in Frankford, MO where she owned and operated “Beauty by Linda”.
Linda loved to care for her flowers and was an excellent cook. Her breakfasts during hunting season were famous and always enjoyed by family. Linda especially loved the Christmas season and decorated many trees throughout her home each year earning her the nickname “Christmas Tree Gran” from her grandchildren. Keeping up on current events, reading her Bible and collecting shells and visiting the beach in Panacea, FL were a few of Linda’s favorites. Most of all Linda loved her family, she enjoyed attending all her grandchildren’s events and activities and was always their biggest cheerleader.
A longtime member of the Frankford Presbyterian Church, Linda was an active member that taught Sunday School and enjoyed helping any way that she could at the church.
Pallbearers will be Mike McKay, Ed Jackson, Mike Cook, Steve Spegal, Tim Kurz and Harold Lee Elder.
Honorary pallbearers will be Linda Ellis, Margaret McKay, Marie Dandridge, Dorothy Flowers and Bettie Hassien.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Loving Care Hospice.
