Shared Blame
The horror of the massacre in Mexico has momentarily siphoned some media coverage away from impeachment and other things political. As it is virtually impossible to use this incident in relation to the question of “gun control” in the U.S., the attention will be poignant, but short-lived.
Elements of the Mexican Cartel establishment have been theorized as likely assassins.
In reality, many living in the U.S. are likely co-accomplices. Anyone who uses or deals in “street drugs” helps the Cartels buy weapons. When Narcan is used beyond the first time to treat an overdose; it supports the Cartels’ treasury. When U.S. citizens vacation at Cartel affiliated/protected resorts, they help finance the Cartels’ muscle and firepower.
Though the term is much overused, if one will “follow the money,” the “triggermen” (whether Cartel or ISIS) are only activated by their support system: easy money.
