THE RALLS COUNTY COMMISSION MEETS

Ralls County Presiding Commissioner, Wiley Hibbard called the adjourned meeting to order with the following members present: John Lake, Western District Commissioner; RC Harlow, Eastern District Commissioner; Sandy Lanier, Ralls County Clerk. The minutes from the October 28th, 2019 meeting were read and approved. Commissioners attended the MODOT meeting regarding Rt A./Hwy 61 Intersection. The Ralls County Commission signed a grant for SEMA Mitigation Grant Manager Storm Warning Siren. The Commissioners met with Cindy Hultz from Mark Twain Regional Council of Governments, Jane White, Mayor of New London, and Jeff Lewis, employee of City of New London.

Wiley Hibbard made a motion to participate in Workforce Development Service program. RC Harlow seconded the motion. Motion passed. The Commissioners met with Matt Walker from Poepping, Stone & Bach about Indiana Bridge. The Missouri State Tax Commission Quarterly Report was signed by the commission. The Commissioners met with Gerald Simpson and his son about removing a gate on Pierce Trail. Josh Ketsenburg, Ralls County Assessor, met with the Ralls County Commission about information with the Missouri State Tax Commission. Road maintenance was discussed. Meeting was adjourned.

Commission will meet again on November 4th, 2019 unless convened by court.

The minutes from the October 31st, 2019 meeting were read and approved. The Commissioners signed thank you letters for Mark Twain High School students that moved dirt on the courthouse lawn. John Lake made a motion to receive bids for liability insurance. RC Harlow seconded; the motion passed. The Ralls County Commission talked about long term flood recovery projects. RC Harlow made a motion to sign an application with Mark Twain Regional Council of Governments for long term flood recovery projects. John Lake seconded; the motion passed. The Commissioners and Ralls County Clerk inspected roads in the county. The Commissioners discussed road maintenance. Meeting was adjourned. Commission will meet again on November 7th, 2019 unless convened by court.
