4-H Teen Camp

“Season 19” was the theme for the 4-H Teen Camp held June 6-9, 2019. Teens ages 12 to 14 from Audrain, Pike, Ralls, Clark, Shelby, Lewis, Knox and Marion counties took part in the camp at Camp Cedar Crest near Mexico.
Counselors for the camp were: Andrew Biggs, Abby Robb and Sarah Akers, Pike County; Aleigha Dollens, Wyatt Cooley, Audrain County; Zach Rosenkrans, Christian Drebes, and Olivia Lehenbauer, Marion County.
Some of the workshops were: Ag Innovators, Canoeing, Mythology/Folklore, Coding, Master Chef, Escape Room, Bottle Rockets, and Improvisation. Through these workshops, campers learned many life skills such as team building, communication, and problem solving.
Representing Pike County were: Hannah Akers, Bailey Graves, Clara Bailey, John Cooke, Lexi Robb, Abby Haas and Levi Summers.
Representing Ralls County was Jocelyn Hudelson.
Representing Marion County were: Clara Williams, Noah Williams, Katy Mehling, Marissa Lockett, Hannah Dameron, Ryan Thompson, Brooklyn Hudson, Adeline, and Dylan Mahar.
