Consolidated Machine and Welding, a Division of CK Power Job Fair Scheduled for Feb. 1 & 2, 2019.

In October of 2017, Consolidated Machine and Welding (CM&W) a sheet metal fabricator and manufacturer was acquired by CK Power a St. Louis based distributor, manufacturer and service provider of generators and off-highway power solutions. Since then, CM&W a Division of CK Power has added 36 jobs throughout the organization.

CM&W’s growth is largely due to its valued customers and the markets they serve. With the acquisition by CK Power, Consolidated has been able to offer improved and increased benefits allowing them to draw personnel in this tight labor market. CK Power will continue to add equipment, capabilities, training and personnel resources to meet their customer’s needs.

In 2019, CM&W looks to add more jobs through the expansion of the second shift. Consolidated is currently hiring welders, machine operators, press brake operators, laser operators, material handlers, general laborers and packaging & assembly positions. These positions are primarily second shift which is from 3:30 p.m.-2:00 a.m. ranging from four 10-hour days. They also have openings for a buyer and scheduler.

CM&W will be hosting a job fair Friday, February 1 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, February 2 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the facility, 5 Industrial Loop Rd, Hannibal, MO 63401. Please come prepared with a resume and any other relatable paperwork, such as certifications.
