Dennis Ray Diffenderfer
Memorial Services for Dennis Ray Diffenderfer, 57, of Perry, will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 2018, at St. William Catholic Church in Perry with Father John Henderson officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, December 14, at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Bienhoff Funeral Home.
Mr. Diffenderfer passed away at 5:25 a.m. December 13 at his home in Perry.
He was born April 16, 1961, in Mexico, the son of Glenn and Dorothy Jean Bieker Diffenderfer.
He was married Jo Ann Harlow in Perry on June 24, 1989, and she survives.
Other survivors include one son, Matthew (Samantha) Diffenderfer of Perry; one brother, Jim (Jeneane) Diffenderfer of Perry; one sister, Judy (Bill) Heim of Perry; one granddaughter, Mallory Rae Diffenderfer of Perry; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Dorothy.
Mr. Diffenderfer was a lifetime area resident and member of St. William Catholic Church. He was a 1979 graduate of Mark Twain High School and worked as a tool and die maker for Perry Machine & Die for several years, Leggett and Platt/Pace Industries for over 20 years, and as a truck driver for Yancey Auto Parts for 7 years. He was a member of the Perry Volunteer Fire Department for 40 years and the Mark Twain Lake Rodeo Association for 26 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, enjoyed woodworking, and spending time with his family.
