Tricia Asquith

by 8th Grade Mark Twain Yearbook Student, Adelynn Palmer

Tricia Asquith was hired by the Ralls County School District for 2018-2019 school year. She is a paraprofessional and also helps wherever she is needed. This is not Tricia’s first year of teaching in a school. In the past, she has taught preschool. Working at Mark Twain is not the only job she has; Tricia is also the Ralls County Parents as Teachers coordinator. She wanted to start working at Mark Twain because her son is a Mark Twain student and it is close to home. Tricia graduated high school and then got her Associate's Degree. Her favorite part about her job at MT is working with the students and getting to know them. Some hobbies that Tricia has outside of school include watching her boys play sports and shopping. When I asked Tricia about her favorite part of being a new staff member at Ralls County, she said that it would be getting to know the students and faculty. Tricia told me that to have this job, she has to have a lot of patience and cannot take anything too personally. We are glad to welcome Tricia to the Mark Twain family.
