Letter to the Editor

by Bill Northcutt Retired FFA Advisor

To the Editor:

Recently, your papers ran pictures of our FFA Chapters attending the National Convention in Indianapolis. We should all be proud of our FFA Chapters and the neat appearance of the members. The FFA still stresses neatness in appearance and this is still important.

Your papers cover Madison, Monroe City, Mark Twain, and Paris. These FFA Chapters are tops in the state and Paris was one of two chapters recognized from our state at the National FFA Convention. I have praised Josh Bondy many times on how great his students always look. Jaelyn Peckman has only added to the professional appearance of the Paris FFA.

I am so proud to have a granddaughter in the Mark Twain Chapter being taught by Joe Dameron, a former student of mine, and Caitlin Blakely.

We should all encourage our FFA advisors and assist them in their great work.
