JWCC’s College for Life to Offer Inclusive Bell Choir Classes to Students and Public
John Wood Community College’s College for Life (CFL) program has created a non-credit activity class that will teach bell choir. The class will be open to current JWCC and CFL students and adult members of the community.
Participants will be taught the Kristal Bell method, and will learn several songs in a variety of genres and explore basic musical knowledge such as tone, melody and tempo. The classes will be held on Tuesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m., September 11 to December 4. The instructor is Chloe Lovelace. There is a $50 activity fee to participate.
JWCC’s College for Life program offers students with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to go to college and enroll in non-credit courses. To register for the bell choir classes, call 217-491-4941.
