Ralls County Primary Election Results
The unofficial Primary Election results were received from the Ralls County Clerk Tuesday evening. There were 2,666 ballots cast, representing 58.12% of the county’s registered voters.
Out of the 11 candidates for the Republican nod for U.S. Senator, Josh Hawley received 773 votes (57.77%) and will face Democrat incumbent Claire McCaskill, who received 746 votes (71.94%), in the November election.
In the race for State Auditor David Wasinger, Republican, received 616 votes (49.20%) and will face Democrat incumbent Nicole Galloway who received 865 votes (100%) in the November election.
In the race for U.S. Representative District 6 incumbent Republican Sam Graves received 1,296 votes (100%) and will face Democrat challenger Henry Robert Martin who received 443 votes (50.51%) in November.
In the race for State Senator District 18 incumbent Lindell F. Shumake received 681 votes (47.06%) and will face Democrat challenger Crystal Stephens who received 860 votes (100%) in November.
In the race for the Ralls County Collector Tara Thompson Comer received 557 votes (51.48%) and defeated Kelsey Anderson Caldwell who received 525 votes ((48.52%). There is no Republican challenger on the November ballot.
Sandy Lanier, incumbent Ralls County Clerk, will face Democrat challenger Janet Tutor in the November election.
Running unopposed were Rep. Jim Hansen, State Representative District 40; Jena Epperson, Ralls County Treasurer; David C. Mobley, Associate Circuit Judge; Rachel Bringer Shepherd, Circuit Judge Circuit 10; Wiley Hibbard, Ralls County Presiding Commissioner; Gina Jameson, Ralls County Clerk of the Circuit Court/Ex-officio Recorder of Deeds; and Rodney J. Rodenbaugh, Ralls County Prosecuting Attorney.
Missouri Proposition A received 1,704 NO votes and 935 YES votes.
